Christmas in Colorado

Well I thought I had more pictures, but I guess I forgot to get my camera out and actually take them! These are a few of my favorite from Christmas morning.

What a good sport!

Eric is such a good sport! Kay and Ash were so excited to paint Uncle Eric's nails they could hardly wait. SO as soon as they arrived in Colorado they asked him if they could have their paint party! So Eric got the manicure of all time! Not only did he get a manicure he got some pretty pink sparkly lip gloss and some yummy sprays of bubble gum body spray!

I wanted to change the layout of my blog and the stupid thing won't let me change the text colors!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHh computers!!!

UTAH!!!

I was lucky enough to fly to Utah for the weekend to see my cute little niece Silver and handsome nephew Grant be blessed. It was so much fun. I love getting to see my family and spend time with them. It all started with a VERY early flight out of PHX. I mean I was up at 3am driving by 4 and at the airport security gate at 6:30. I always have some sort of disaster happen on my way.. Last time I forgot my luggage.. and this time I missed the exit to the airport! I mean who functions well when they have been up since 3AM. So being the worry wart that I am I was terrified of having to use the Barf bag on the plane. Crazy things happen and I was so worried that I would need one. Good thing I didn't because they were not IN MY SEAT.. I would have barfed on the floor even more humiliating!!!! Any way I got there safe and barf free... to be picked up and on our way to Kay and Ash's soccer game.. What fun that was.....Pictures to follow. Kay is good..and she attributes is to her SUPER FAST SOCCER SHOES...and Ash is a killer on defense.. Josh loved hanging out with us and got a ride on the blanket across the field... that was fun! We then had the blessings on Sunday and it was so nice. The babies totally look like a boy and girl.. no mistaking them.. Silver has such feminine features while Grant is a bit larger and has more MANLY... features! Just a few pictures! I also have the picture of the year to post... soon....

OUT OF AFRICA!!!

Last month Tammy and Evans came up for 10 days to visit, so one day we took them to Out Of Africa. It is about ten minutes from our house. We thought it would be way cooler (not weather wise) but it was nothing to brag about. Good thing our tickets were free(well sort of) Eric and I sat through a time share meeting to get them, but hey Evan thought it was cool and he got to feed a giraffe!!!! Here are a few pics of our day! The one with that hand is Eric and Evans (you can see his blonde curls!) feeding the giraffe.They just had a baby Zebra a week before we were there. He is so cute!!!!!

I'm The WORST Blogger Ever!!!!!

Yes, I realize a have not updated my blog since July. I know....I know.. I am LAME. However, I have been really busy. We came back from vacation in July and we were back in school by the 4th of August. Yeah it came very fast and we were so not ready, but we didn't have a choice. I must say my year is going twenty times better than last year. I have a better group of kids and only have a couple students with "issues." Of course I am the "mean" teacher of the 6th grade. Which actually makes me smile a little. I am not that mean. I didn't know requiring you to sit in your chair, be quiet, and listen were "mean" things to ask or 11/12 year olds. So I will be doing a massive update of the blog.. enjoy.

4th of July MADNESS!

The show is on everyone! Our annual 4th of July party and boating trip at Uncle Kent's was a BLAST! I think everyone had fun! Eric and I were a little cold being from the land of sun, but we survived and we loved getting to see everyone. I couldn't believe how much the kids have changed and how big they are all getting! I didn't even recognized my cousins! Her are some of the fun pics. Too bad we didn't have my tubing experience on video! The baseball game was a hit!!!!

Can I just tell you how much Josh loved Eric! Oh my goodness! He wanted to sit with Eric all the time. He is so funny! Eric took a video of him and he was showing it to him and he watched it over and over! I must say Josh gives the best hugs EVER! He is such a sweetheart. I wish we lived closer so we could see them more!

LOVE AT FIRST SITE!

OH my new niece is the most precious, most adorable thing! I just can't believe still how perfect little babies can be. They are so tiny and yet have all the features that adults have. My favorite part are their little fingers and toes! I am so glad that Eric and I got to spend some time in Utah visiting and meeting the new addition to our family. I can't wait for the new Nephew to arrive either!
