Things that make me go UGH....

So I was thinking that I am sort of a OCD type person... THere are many things that make me go UGH....and not all of them have to do with the cans all facing the same direction however some of them do.

5. Finding a smooshed cricket in my tennis shoe after I have already taught one class and the leg is stuck to my sock!

4. When the sink is not shining silver

3. When the towels are hung up the long way on the towel rack and not the short way! ( I have to fix Erics daily)

2. When things are not placed on the right shelf. Baking items are on the baking shelf. Drinks in the fridge are on the top shelf and nothing else. Snacks are on a shelf. ETC you get the point.

1. When someone is eating chips and salsa and they bite the chip in the center and it breaks all to pieces and all you hear is the annoying crunch. What is wrong with breakin the chip so the whole thing fits in your mouth!

I had a funny thing happen to me the other day. As we all may know I am the Volleyball coach here in Arizona and I have heard a lot of excuses in my classes and in practice but I have never heard this one before.. so here goes... here is the conversation......

Player= "Coach can I talk to you?"
ME = Sure whats up
Player= I think I am gettin out volleyball (balleyball is how they say it here on the border)
Me= Why whats going on? (usually it is because they have to get a job to help their family, they aren't playing enough and they think it is still middle school and they have to have equal playing time.)
Player= Well its because I am going to be getting into Football.
ME= WHAT? (trying my hardest not to laugh,while thinking of the girl I knew who joined football and broke her arm in three spots and had to have surgery!)
Player= Its because next year is my senior year and I am planning on playing all my favorite sports...like....Volleyball, basketball and softball.
Me= Ok, so you can make your own decisions but I hope you realize that not playing your junior year will put you behind and you most likely won't play your favorite sport Volleyball your senior year!
Player= OK.

Ok so this is me thinking to myself.. what the crap... I dont' understand. I have heard them all I swear to my foot hurts to my mom grounded me and so on....or its to hot outside! But never have I heard this one! I thought it was funny. So whatever good luck to her I hope it doesn't involve the hospital and a cast!

Colorful Colorado

Colorado is the best! This was the Fourth of July in Ouray. These pictures are going over the Red Mountain pass and it is so cool!

I guess I will show you a few more pics of the wedding. I know you are all pretty sick of looking at these pictures but I like them. I don't have kids to talk about their funny things...so here I am talking about my cat and wedding....So here is one of me and my mom and sister!

This is who our site is named after! Our little princess MAGGIE! Yes she is a princess. She is a terror! Attacks anything that moves! Her newest thing is to lay in sink in the morning and watch me get ready after she licks the extra water off the faucet!

I bet this cake was so good! Too bad I got two bites...and anyone who knows me knows that my favorite things IS CAKE and chocolate too! But it was pretty

The cutest nephew and the cutest nieces are about to make an appearance... I can't believe how cute they are... I think they look like me!!!! I miss them so much. That is the worst part about being so far away is that I can't spend any Sunday I want with them.

Just in case anyone wondered....Matt is not on drugs! He does have access to prescription pills however,like any good DOC he would never do such a thing....I had to put this one up because JOSH is actually looking at the camera!!!! SO this is Erics new family and my wonderful old family!!!

What can I say is this to cute or what!

It's true I am finally updating the blog! I was so excited to get one and then I got so busy I could not even keep up. SO in case we didn't all know already I got hitched over the summer on July 25th. HOTTEST day of the year in Utah of course it had to be on my wedding and I was sweating like a pig! GROSS. But it was still very nice and turned out just how we wanted it. Thanks everyone for making our day super! SO....I guess I could catch you up on life a little. We had a reception in NY which was very very nice. Eric's parents are professional at hosting events at their house. So it turned out very very nice. We had that on Aug. 3. We stayed in NY until the 5th and then back to SLC where we picked up the presents and the rest of my belongings and headed to Yuma because we started school on the 7th of August. Yeah....summer...what summer. I felt like I just ended school and had no real vacation....what I call a vacation is doing NOTHING! Instead I planned a wedding! But it was all worth it. What was I doing 10 years ago?
Ten years ago lets see....I was 17 yikes that is scary! I had really no worries in the world... just who was my boyfriend at that moment and what sophmore girls wanted to beat me up. I was looking forward to my senior year in high school and my last year of Basketball!

What was I doing 5 years ago?
Five years ago I was living in Ogden, Utah going to school and trying to graduate.. only to find out I would be returning for another degree a year later! IDIOT! I was flighty!

What was I doing 1 year ago?
One year ago I actually graduated with a degree that I would use and was excited to use! I then moved to Arizona to start my first teaching job!

What was I doing yesterday?
Yesterday! Oh yes I went to Mexico with Eric to find myself some cheap glasses...well I out that it wasn't so cheap! One hundred bucks was not cheap enough.. so we had lunch and went to the street shops to buy some goods from our cute little MIJA who gave us a deal on my last purse.

POOL!

Ok..so I mentioned that I spend sometime at the pool. The weather here is very condusive to LAYING OUT for hours at a pool....unless is gets past 105! However, I want to let you all in on a little secret that I have found to brave the heat and get that summer tan! It's called a FLOATY! Yeah you got it... I found one at Wal-Mart for 3 bucks and it is HEAVEN! I tell you what..you put on a little tanning oil and hop on that bad boy and take a nap! It makes laying out and spending your day at the pool so much more enjoyable....I just thought i would let you in on a little secret!

School Is Out For SUMMER!!!!

I'm sure everyone knows that school is finally out for summer! I never thought it would never COME! I finally made it through my first year of teaching and contrary to popular belief it was easier than everyone had told me it would be. I think since I was so terrified of my first year of all the horror stories veteran teachers had been telling me that had happened to them their first year of teaching...I thought holy moly..I'm toast! But...it wasn't that bad! I won't lie it was a small rollercoaster I was the Head Volleyball coach for a 5A school....now hold on...when you think 5A in most normal terms you are thinking you will have a wicked good volleyball team and some great athletes! WELL...not so much...when you are teaching in a border town school... the 5A means nothing! I had a problem getting girls to come to practice, and by the end of the season at the region tourney..I had 7 yes .... 7 girls show up to play! KILL ME! I am a sucker though...I am doing it again! I am also setting a record for the San Luis Volleyball program...I am the first returning coach since the school started 6 years ago! WOW! No wonder we have a hard time getting kids to come play! So classes were good... I was teaching freshman PE which is very interesting but a nightmare.. and then I taught Aerobics...all last semester for three classes! Yeah I thought I might die or maybe loose some weight....YEAH NEITHER of those two things happened....So I am ready for summer... I have a hard time just doing nothing! I spend some time at the pool which is FANTASTIC!

BLOGGIN?

Well... I never would have thought I would be BLOGGING! I think they are really fun to look at if they are not mine!!! Because I do not have to do any of the work! I get to keep updated on my friends and my cute nephew...however...I think it is about time I got a blog not sure what has gotten into me but I have started it. I also thought to myself..I have a lot to blog about. Lots of things have happened in the last week or so that would be fun to blog about... plus I like the silly quiz things or surveys...so anywho... I guess I will get started on my bloggin!
