I still have it!

I love putting kids to bed. Why because they are so cute when they sleep! I loved putting Ash and Kay to bed, so when I got to put Evan to bed last night I was so excited!

A day at the Verde Valley Fair

Our Saturday Project!

When we bought our house it literally came with two ugly cacti and some rocks. We have spent a lot of time in our back yard recently. We planted some grass and are anxiously awaiting its arrival. Which got hindered because of the cold, rainy weather that we had last week. So this Saturday we decided to work on our front yard. We decided to take out the rock next to our garage and the area in front of the den. That took us about 1.5 hours just to move all the rock. We replaced it with five rose bushes, and a mixture of calla lilies, orange regular lilies, gerbera daisies,pansies, petunias , dianthus, and a few other flowers I can't remember the names of. So here are the before and after pictures of our work! I can't wait for it to fill in and look better. We had to put in 4 giant bags of potting/garden soil and 8 bags of cedar chips! Serisously, this took forever but it looks nice. We also got some nice potted plants for each side of the garage.

Our Sunday Visitors!

Alright, I think we all know that I HATE Hate Hate bugs and anything creepy, crawling and discusting. It starts with one night our Mags finding a SCORPION, Yes< you heard me correctly a scorpion in our kitchen. I realized yet again that I HATE these creatures. So today when I got home from church I am sitting outside and I hear this GIANT bug buzzin by head. Well, let me tell you it IS GIANT! Who knew that there was a little flying bug called a Tarantula Hawk! It EATS them. Its sting is like the most powerful and painful. YEAH!!!! Do you know how fast I ran in this house! The next thing that we saw today was a GIANT LIZARD....I also hate lizards! Thing was huge and gross with a blue throat.

Molly Moo!!!

Finally we have our new kitten! She is so ADORABLE!!!! Yeah call me what you want. The Cat Lady or whatever but we needed a sister for Maggie because she was getting bored. She is getting warmed up to Molly.

House decorating here we come!

Eric is spraying and working on the landscaping in our yard. We have now planted a rose bush and tore out all the ugly cacti! I hate that landscaping! So I will send pictures when we get the grass in the back planted. Maggie also loves her spot on the couch! She sleeps there for hours.OH I forgot to say that all these pictures were taken with my NEW AWESOME camera! My use to be white magnet board is now red!

Random things!

This is one of the walls leading into the kitchen. That board use to be white but I painted it and now its red and distressed! I'm so proud! I also FINALLY found a bedspread and sheets I like that FIT our giant size bed! It looks really nice!

I'm Alive I Swear~

Ok after a few recent inquiries about my whereabouts and pictures and updates on our new house I thought I would inform you all that I have not yet gotten the internet at our house. Yes, lame I know! However, it will happen. I do wish to update you all on the new home, the death of our kitty, and a few other random things.. so stay tuned.. don't give up!

Resolutions....who needs them?

Every year I have a resolution of some sort for the New Year that is upon us, however, now that I think about it...I don't think I have actually ever kept a resolution. So I think I have some up with a few reasons why New Year resolutions are not needed and why they do not work.

1. I always break them
2. I always come up with a reason of why I can start tomorrow!
3. Losing weight is one every year.. I have yet to accomplish this task according to my resolution. It usually involves some sort of crazy exercise plan or eating no junk food for the rest of the year! I mean come on who can do that! Certainly not anyone that is remotely human and likes sugar and treats! GET REAL!
4. I can't think of anything else every year besides exercise and weight that isn't lame and totally unattainable so why try!
5. They are lame.

There you have it my friends... the reasons why I do not have a resolution for the year!

WE ARE BUYING A CUTE HOUSE!!!

Ok... so big news... we are buying a house. I included a few picture of the outside, the view of from the backyard. I we have to do a few things inside when we get some mula but for now we love it! We are just waiting on the millions of things that have to be done before we can actually say it is ours and all ours..(well you know what I mean)....Its pretty stinkin cute...Its in a quiet neighborhood and we think its pretty neat!

I think I might have PEED!!!!!!

Wow!!! Eric saw this on his hike. He was on his way home in the truck and ran it over by accident! THIS IS SO YUCKY!! It give me the CHILLS!!! It is like three feet long!!!
